How to Organize our Consulting Group

I started by putting out messages on the Craigslist Nonprofit forum.

I suggest that others interested contact others who may be interested, if you like.

I also suggest joining Unity in Diversity at http://www.idealist.org/team/our/action-groups.

I hope to keep this updated and to reorganize it.

Our Purpose

Forming a group of advisers to local governments. Advisers should know "Modern Money Theory" basics, including the Job Guarantee, which guarantee local governments can provide their residents via non-profit organizations. Non-profits would discuss with local people, including the unemployed, to determine what jobs are most needed or wanted, then write grant proposals to local govt and the govt would then fund those jobs via the non-profits.

It should be possible for any city or county govt, which are mostly all corporations, to include Job Guarantees in its bylaws or constitution. But they are more likely to want to do that after giving the above method a try first.

Group will also advise how to reduce violent crime and theft, improve ecology, reduce wasteful energy consumption, improve education and human relationships, reduce or end abusive taxes, beautify the community, counter desertification, improve science and health care etc.
